Julia Katherine "Kat" Wilson, 97, of Gladewater, Texas passed away on January 21, 2022. Kat was born on October 15, 1924 to Rufus and Mary Saulter in Gladewater, Texas
Kat was a devoted wife of 77 years to her beloved husband Herman. She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and always kept their home tidy and in order. Kat is survived by her husband, Herman Wilson; son, Don Wilson; grandchildren, Michelle Nunn, Angela Wilson and David Wilson; great grandchildren, Julia Nunn, Oliver Caldwell, Lucas Wolfe, Knox Wolfe, Melody Wolfe and Eleanor Caldwell; as well as many other loving extended family.
Kat was preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne Lee Wilson; and sister, Betty Jane Allen.
A funeral service will be under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas in the chapel at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with a visitation held just prior at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
