Mrs. Lillian Caffey

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Eslie Caffey, 58, were held Tuesday, October 3, at ten o'clock at the Shiloh Baptist Church. The Rev. W. M. Hull and Rev. Hamlet, III, conducted he services. Interment was in church cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were J. W. Kirk, Curtis Kirk, W. C. Woods, Melvin Kirk, Dorris Woods and Donald Woods.

Mrs. Caffey was born in Montgomery County on August 29, 1892. On March 8th, 1910, she was married to S. P. Caffey who survives. Mrs. Caffey passed away on October 1st at the Grenada Hospital after a two weeks' illness.

Survivors include her husband, Samuel Pat Caffey, Winona; three daughters, Miss Christine Caffey, West Memphis, Ark., Mrs. A. C. Dotson, Jr., and Miss Inez Caffey, both of Winona; nine sons, Ethridge Caffey, Howard Caffey, Durward Caffey and Kirk Caffey, all of Winona; Hammond Caffey and Winton Caffey, both, of West Memphis, Ark., Pat Caffey, Jr., and Leroy Caffey, both of Baton Rouge, La., and Erwin Caffey of Oxford; and five brothers, J. A .Kirk and S. H. Kirk, both of Winona, G. R. Kirk of Vicksburg, and J. W. Kirk and Cecil Kirk, both of Duck Hill.
