Mrs. Leona Rubert Dies Family Home
Mrs. Leona Rubert, 31, wife of Royal Rubert, residing at 312 South Twenty-first street, died at 1:15 o'clock this afternoon, of a complication of ailments.
The daughter of Fred and Lula Rush, she was born February 15, 1908.
She was married to Royal Rubert, April 10, 1935.
Mrs. Rubert was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Surviving besides the husband are a son, Carl Partlow, of Anderson, by a previous marriage; mother, Mrs. Lula Marshall, Anderson; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Shores, Charleston, West Va.; Mrs. Beulah Hancock, Anderson, and Mrs. Mary Maines, Indianapolis, and one half-brother, Samuel Hollies, Elwood.
The body was removed to the Clark chapel and will be returned to the family home at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Funeral services will be conducted at the Pilgrim Holiness Church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. George Huff in charge, assisted by Rev. Ada Scott. Burial will follow in the city cemetery.
