=========================

John is the son of Ivan Andrew Loskutoff (1867-1951) and Mary Nesterevna Batieff (1869-1956). He was born in Kars, Russia.

He married Hazel Lukianovna Susoev (1897-1977) on November 8, 1911 in San Francisco, CA. The 1920 U. S. Federal Census shows Hazel and her family living with her husband's brother, Sam, at 950 DeHaro Street on Potrero Hill in San Francisco, CA. John was a riveter in the shipyards. It shows Hazel immigrating in 1912; however, I have the marriage certificate showing they married in 1912. John immigrated in 1907 from Russia.

Hazel and John had eight known children: Andrew, Alex, John, Samuel, Emma, Mary, William, and Walter.

By 1930 the family had moved to Sheridan in Placer County, CA. They were farmers.

From the Auburn Journal, June 21, 1962
"JOHN LOSCUTOFF OF SHERIDAN DIES - LINCOLN, June 21 - Services were held in the First Christian Molokan Church in San Francisco Sunday for John Loscutoff, 72, who died at his home in Sheridan Friday. Loscutoff, a native of Russia, had lived in California for 55 years and in Sheridan for 42 years. He was a farmer. He was the husband of Hazel, of Sheridan; father of Andrew and William Loscutoff and Mary Pierucci of West Sacramento; Alex Loscutoff of Davis; and John and Walter Loscutoff and Emma Folena of Sacramento; and brother of Eunice Susoeff of Sheridan and Dorothy Bushneff of San Francisco."
