She retired from L + N Railroad and Kroger Corporate office, and was a graduate of Valley High School. She was also a member of Blue Ball Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex Cornett and Nannie Berry Cornett; and two sisters, Norma Swatt and Mavis Garrett.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Tina) Baker, Judson Baker, and Diane (Mark) Booker; six grandchildren, Eric (Ellisha), Dustin, Ashley, Aaron, Alan, and Justin; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral is Monday, January 31st at 11 a.m. with Brother Al Hardy and Glen Cornett officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ball Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and continues after 9 a.m. Monday.
