Berna Silvaz, 71, returned to her heavenly father on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Berna was born February 13, 1950 to Juanita Flores and Manuel Aguniaga in Meadow, Texas. She was the fifth child of a large family and loved being a sister to each of them. At the age of 3, they relocated to Burley, Idaho--which became her forever home. Her childhood was spent caring for her siblings because that is what she loved to do. This bond continued throughout her life--especially with her sisters Maria Salazar, Manuela Campos, and Esperanza Garcia.

In 1974, she married the love of her life, Felix Silvaz. They were inseparable from day one and had a relationship that others always admired. They went on to have 4 children.

Berna loved to work and started at a young age. She was only 16 when she settled down and found a work home with Ore-Ida/McCains and was with them for 52 years.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 22, 2022 at St Therese Little Flower Burley Idaho and a Viewing With a rosary will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday January 21, 2022 at Hansen Mortuary services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
