James Junior Cook, 85, of Lonoke, died on Sept. 21, 2018. He was in the US Army during the Korean War. James was a member of Bible Baptist Church, where he served as church bus driver and Jr. Church Teacher. He loved gardening and his family. He was preceded in death by son, Timothy Cook. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Virginia Cook; children, Shirley (Mike) Waterhouse of Texas, Rebecca (Rich) Smith of North Carolina, and Keith (Beth) Cook of Sherwood; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers William A. Cook and Donald Cook; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
