OWEN COUNTY DRIVER DIES
A 38-year-old Owen County man died Sunday when his car crashed near Owenton, Kentucky State Police said.
Michael Brewer was dead at the scene of the single-car collision on Ky. 22, west of Owenton. Brewer was headed east on the highway shortly after 10 p.m. when he ran off the road and hit a utility pole, police said.
Police said Brewer was not wearing a seat belt and they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Michael Gayle Brewer, 38, of Owenton, died on Aug. 5, 2007.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 8, 2007, at North Frankfort Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
