Mrs. Cora Alcoke, 79, of Bogota, died Wednesday afternoon at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Jasper County on October 22, 1891, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Worthey. She was married to Robert B. Alcoke, who died on October 24, 1924.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Davis of Newton and Mrs. Opal Gillespie of Alton; a brother, Floyd Worthey of Hidalgo and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Buchanan Funeral Home at Newton with Rev. Leslie Osborne in charge. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery, near Newton. Friends may call at the funeral home.
