Lloyd Vincent Amundson Jr., 74, Livingston, WI formerly of Farmersburg, Iowa died Saturday Dec. 1, 2007 at the Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI. He was born June 13, 1933, Postville, IA, the son of Lloyd E. & Viola (Jones) Amundson. He was married to Mary Ann Weadge in Jan. of 1954, and to Barbara Kuehl on Nov. 8, 1970.

Lloyd graduated from Farmersburg High School in 1951. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1951 until being Honorably Discharged in 1956. One of his fondest memories was serving on the U.S.S. Hornet. When returning home, Lloyd drove truck for Miller's Dairy in Elkader, IA and then was a self employed milk can hauler, and later drove truck for Schneider Trucking. He also worked for 3 years for the Clayton County Highway Dept. Lloyd then had his own bulk route for the Ludlow Cheese Factory in Waukon, IA until being employed at the Richardson Trucking and retiring 2003 from Johnson Trucking of Darlington, WI. He also enjoyed driving the Northeast Community Transit Van of Decorah, IA. Lloyd loved Harley Motorcycles, John Deere tractors, and was an avid sports fan cheering on the Packers, Cubs, and watching Nascar. Lloyd enjoyed country music and the Grand Ole Opry and loved his family which was his number one priority in life.

Lloyd is survived by three children: Gina Walmer and fiancé Lyle Dalton; Mt. Zion, WI, Cory Amundson, Effort, Pennsylvania, Sonja (Jason) Christopherson; Onalaska, WI; four grandchildren, Cindee (Todd) Swanson, Nicole Walmer, Ashley & Renee Amundson; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Hayley and Kassady Swanson; daughter-in-law: Brenda Amundson; Limerick, Pennsylvania; three sisters: Rose Mary (L'Dean) Tielbar; Farmersburg, Iowa, Linda Beuchler; Independence, Iowa, Rita (Bill) Leliefeld; Guttenberg, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Ann Weadge in 1969, stepmother, Bernice Kuhse, infant daughter, Cindee Jo Amundson, grandson, Nathan Walmer, sister, Marlene Meyer, brother, Burdell Amundson.
