Marguerite Mary (Comiskey) Ford, 77, of Tuttle, died Monday, January 17, 2022, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Thomas Patrick Comiskey and Helen Marie (Brennan) Comiskey, Marguerite was born August 26, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York.
Marguerite and Jerry were married on November 30, 1968, in Staten Island, New York, and immediately moved to Oklahoma City after getting married. They lived in Oklahoma City until moving to Tuttle in 1997. Marguerite was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church until 2000. She accepted Jesus as her Savior and joined Jefferson Heights Baptist Church, which later became New Heights Baptist Church. She was an active member alongside of Jerry. Marguerite worked as a secretary for the Oklahoma City Public Schools at Northwest Classen High School. She retired from there after 27 years of service. Marguerite loved gardening and received her certificate from OSU-OKC as a Master Gardener. She and Jerry loved to travel. For their 5oth anniversary, they took a cruise to each of the Hawaiian Islands, completing their travels to all fifty states. Marguerite was a great caretaker to her parents and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marguerite is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry Lee Ford, of Tuttle; two sons, Sonny Lee Ford of Tuttle and Steven Daryl Ford and his wife, Cheralyn, of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Isaac Daniel Ford and Olivia Grace Ford; four sisters, Patricia Devine and her husband, John, of Staten Island, New York, Helen Stout and her husband, James, of Florida, Elaine Geyer of Florida, Janice Morrissey of Boston, Massachusetts; one sister-in-law, Myra DeLine and her husband, Robert, of Atlanta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
