Born on Friday, February 26, 1926 in York Haven, he was a son of the William H. and Rosa Starner Brodbeck. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn E. (Bemiller) Brodbeck, who died in 2005; a son, Dean P. Brodbeck, Jr.; and a daughter, Judy E. Graf. Dean was employed by the former Keystone Wire Cloth for more than 39 years, where he was a machine operator. He was a member of the Hanover Church of the Brethren and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his two sons, David J. Brodbeck and his wife, Stacy, of Hanover, and Scott A. Brodbeck and his wife, Maia Carol, of Aiken, SC; seven grandchildren, Chad, Nathan and Duane Brodbeck, Denise Panner, Jennifer Keller, Robin Walker, and Allison Symmes; 13 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 20, 2022 with Pastor Dick Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
