Otis C. Tuttle, a yard employe of the Estey Organ Co., fell dead on Organ street shortly after noon Monday on his way to the home of Leroy M. Hudson of 15 Cherry street where he boarded. He was alone at the time, but Henry Johnson found him and notified Dr. W.H. Lane and the Hudson family. Dr. Lane reached him in about five minutes, but life was extinct. The body was taken to Bond & Son's undertaking rooms. Mr. Tuttle had been in his usual health and had made no complaint of any had feeling when he went to his work this morning. Dr. Chester S. Leach, health officer, said death was due to heart disease. He is survived by two half brothers, Wayne Fowler of Whitingham and Archie Fowler of Pittsfield, Mass., and a half-sister, Mrs. John Dorst of Whitingham. Mrs. Tuttle died about two years ago. Mr. Tuttle was born in Shelburne Falls in November, 1858, a son of Charles and Izanna (Chase) Tuttle. He married Miss Emma Smith of Wilmington, who died in October, 1918. He had followed various occupations during his life and last winter entered the employ of the Estey Organ Co., in the yard department. The funeral was held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Bond & Son's undertaking parlors. Rev. R.A. Nunn, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated. The burial took place in Meetinghouse Hill cemetery. The bearers were Carl S. Hopkins, Hoyt H. Barber, Archie Fowler and Wayne Fowler. Those who came from away to attend the funeral were Rev. and Mrs. John Dorst and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fowler and son, Mr. and Mrs. Watson Hicks and son and Albert Allard, all of Whitingham, and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Fowler of Pittsfield, Mass.
