Virginia Sneed, 82, passed away January 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 25, 1939 to the late Andrew and Maxine Shepherd in Prestonsburg, KY. On August 27, 1955 Virginia married the love of her life, Albert Dewitt Sneed.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sneed; son, Terry Sneed; daughter, Patricia Bowman; grandson, Michael "Wimpy" Bowman; brother, Ronald "Doodle" Shepherd and numerous other siblings. Virginia was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Donald Sneed (Samantha), Sandra Reed, Sherry Dick (Donald), Darryl Sneed (Sheila); son-in-law, Roy Bowman; grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Sarah, Donnie "Don Don", Matthew, Michaela, Heather, Haley, Hannah, Tabitha, Ashley, Tyler, Dylan, Alyssa, Codey; several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Virginia loved playing video games on various consoles including Nintendo. Enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets looking for video games. She loved cooking and ensuring everyone was fed whether you were hungry or not! She was a faithful member of Bridgetown Baptist Church since 1980. Above all, she loved her family dearly and would go out of her way to ensure they were happy.
Visitation will be held at Spring Grove Funeral Homes, 4389 Spring Grove Ave, on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 5-8 PM.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 PM on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Bridgetown Baptist Church, 5771 Bridgetown Road, Cincinnati, OH 45248. She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery following the services.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Bowman, Dylan Sneed, Codey Sneed, Tyler Dick, Aaron Pendleton, and Matthew Bowman.
