Hartwick Man is Dead

Hartwick — George A. Fuller died at his home on East Main Street at 2:45 p. m. yesterday after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at Patterson Funeral Home. The Rev. L. L. MacClain, pastor of the Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hartwick.

Members of Hartwick IOOF Lodge will conduct the services at the grave.

Mr. Fuller was born March 29, 1867, in Mount Vision, son of Charles and Evaline (Robinson) Fuller. He married Martha Phillips of Hartwick in 1891.

He was a graduate of Cooperstown High School and attended Oneonta Normal School after which he taught for eight years.

He was a farmer in the Town of Hartwick for 23 years and for several years was employed by the Southern New York Railway as a switchboard operator. He was a member Hartwick Baptist Church and for 58 years a member of the IOOF Lodge here.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Wright; two grandchildren, Leonard and Elaine; and two great-grandchildren, all of Hartwick.
