Emil was born in St Louis, Mo to Emil J. Sr and Henrietta [nee Schulte] Balleydier.

He served his country in the United States Navy, and later married Judy [nee Terry] Balleydier.

He worked for 32 years as a glass installation expert. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, but mostly being around his family.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years: Judy; four children: Joseph [Missy] Balleydier, Melissa [Tim] Nies, Michael Balleydier, Matthew Balleydier; three grandchildren: Emmett and Gavin Balleydier and Amelia Nies; four brothers: Donald [Lorraine] Balleydier, Stanley Balleydier, David Balleydier, Darryl Belleydier; one sister: June [Steve] Robbins; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Arlene Hausman and Shirley Rohan; two sisters-in-law Rebecca and Delores Balleydier.

Services will be announced and held at a later date.

Interment will be in the Valhalla Indoor Mausoleum.
