Joe was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. For 72 years he was an Industrial Chrome Plater and he proudly owned and operated the Durable Plating Company.
Joe is now reunited with his wife of 60 years, Shirley Akers who he adored and is an angel. He was also preceded in death by his 17 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 6 to 8pm at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 10am at Willoughby Memorial Gardens, on Lakeshore Blvd. Please meet at the cemetery.
