Mrs. Eliza Potter died at her home in this place April 6th, aged 77 years. She was born in this town and lived here all her life with the exception of five years, which she lived in Seneca County. Mrs. Potter was a member of the M. E. church and a pure devoted Christian. It is not necessary to eulogize a woman like Mrs. Potter as the pure and quiet Christian life she lived tells more than feeble tongue or pen can tell. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved children who are left to mourn a kind, loving mother. Besides the three daughters and three grandchildren she leaves one brother, George Burditt and one sister, Mrs. P. Alien and a number of niece and nephews to mourn the loss of a loved one.
