Albert a. Gundy 70, of 423 n. Green died at 9 40 Wednesday at St. Joseph hospital. He had entered the Hospital two hours earlier following a heart attack. The son of Joseph and Elizabeth Gundy he was born Nov. 4 1897, in Buffalo NY. He had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 12 years. Mr. Gundy was a representative of the old Ben Coal corp. Of Chicago for 25 years prior to retiring on April 1 of this year. He was a member of St. Mary a Catholic Church and elks Lodge no. 347. His marriage to Florence Kieffe took place Jan 1925, in Council Bluffs. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter Mrs. Patricia Ann Carson of Armonk NY., Three grandchildren and one brother Jerome Gundy of Buffalo NY. Funeral services will be Saturday at St. Mary a Church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
