SAN ANGELO - Audrey Rose Allen, 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 24, 2015.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the family home located at 2220 Chapman St. San Angelo, TX. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.

Audrey was born on April 4, 1950, in San Angelo, Texas, to Gus and Christine (Gibson) Brazeal. She grew up in San Angelo where she attended Lakeview High School and lived in San Angelo all of her life.

She was happiest working side-by-side with her husband driving cattle trucks all over North America. She was a very hard worker and always ready for the next haul. After she and her husband retired from the cattle hauling business they again worked together in their bail bond business.

Audrey was a Christian and loved the Lord. She was a member at Life Point Baptist Church. She raised her children in a Christian home and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Audrey was always very devoted to her family and put their needs above her own. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.

In her spare time Audrey loved to go on cruises, travel and watch NASCAR! She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Joyce Marie Bruton and Ricky Lynn Bruton; and one sister, Joyse Marie Brazeal.

Audrey is survived by her husband of 37 years, Buster Allen of San Angelo; sons Lonnie Merriman and Jason Jackson, both of San Angelo and James Jackson and wife Tina of Miles; daughters Sherry Payne of San Angelo and Delores Banta of Bay City, Texas; brothers Ray Brazeal and wife Jeanne, Ronnie McEnery, Donnie Brazeal and wife Evelyn, all of San Angelo, Gene Brazeal and wife Whoa of Azle; sisters Jo Ann Williams and husband Carroll and Dorothy Brazeal, both of San Angelo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
