Patricia is survived by her children, Harland Hess, Patty Hess, Mary Dahlmeier, Joanie Pilot (Bobby McMahon), Connie Wood, Jeffrey (Meredith) Hess; grandchildren, Ryan, Gordon, Rachel, Christopher, Brandon, Andy, Sam, Crystal, Dustin, Tyler, Preston, Joshua, Benjamin; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; a sister, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Max; a sister; and 2 nephews.
Patricia Margaret Wood was born August 27, 1935 in Beacon, New York to Samuel and Mary (Pilot) Wood. She attended and graduated from Catholic school in Beacon. Patricia was blessed with six children. She made her home in Lafayette, where she stayed until moving to New Ulm. Patricia worked a variety of jobs throughout her life and enjoyed many things. She had a strong love of animals, spending time gardening, doing arts and crafts, and was an avid reader, usually having at least two books going at any given time. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Blessed be her memory.
