Son of Rev. Glen Owen Burnett and Sarah M. Rogers of TN. Horace was born in 1832 or 33 in TN. Family traveled all over Western USA. Pioneers, coming first to Polk, Oregon Territory. Horace married Margaret Amanda Lovelady on 8/28/1951 in Polk County. Went to Cache Creek, Yolo County, CA. Youngest daughter of 9, Grace, was born in 1872 in CA. Horace died about 1876. Unable to fine grave in OR or CA. Margaret married Henry McCarter on 7/10/1877. Margaret had one more child, Austelle McCarter. Margaret, Henry, several Burnett children, and Austelle McCarter all buried at Dallas Cemetery, Dallas, OR. Dallas Cemetery Pioneer section has not been well maintained and several memorial stones are buried due to inclement weather. It is quite possible, Horace is buried there.
