He was united in marriage Clara Edith Sorrell on Dec. 18, 1904 at Myrtle, MO; and to this union eight children were born.
His parents, one infant son and one sister preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Clara of the home; 5 sons, Noval Elijah Cantrell of Mountain View, MO; Noel Ual Cantrell of Marquand, MO; Virgil John Cantrell of Myrtle, MO; Floyd Cantrell of Florissant, MO; and Hubert Lindley Cantrell of Eldon, MO; two daughters, Mrs. Meda Lorine Sisk of Myrtle, MO; and Mrs. Neva Briton of Ferguson, MO; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cantrell was a Christian and a member of the Free Will Baptist Chruch at Myrtle.
We feel our loss is Heaven's gain.
Interment was in Myrtle Cemetery, Myrtle, MO.
