Rheba Rhea Fain Bailey was born on October 6, 1931, in Collingsworth County, Texas, and died on January 8, 2022, in McKinney. She was the elder daughter of Everette and Mary (Hill) Fain. Rheba Rhea started school in Wellington and graduated from Samnorwood in 1949. She briefly attended Draughns Business College but returned home to marry the love of her life, Joe Trice Bailey on December 30, 1949 in Childress. They lived in Collingsworth County before moving to Shamrock in 1956. Rheba worked in various Shamrock businesses, at Marie Foundations, and for many years at Shamrock City Hall. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Shamrock. She was a most dedicated caregiver to her family, especially Joe's years with scleroderma. Her priorities were to be honest, work hard, care for her family, and love the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 51 years. She is survived by her daughter Lajuanna and husband Ken Harder, grandson Kevin Harder and wife Jackie, and great grandchildren Molly, Claire, and Hannah Harder.
There will be a visitation at Robertson Funeral Home in Shamrock on Friday, January 14, from 9am to noon, followed by graveside service at 2:00pm in Shamrock.
Any memorial donations may be made to the Shamrock Cemetery Association.
