Leslie S. Green, 84, of Victoria, Va., died March 25, 2007. He was a farmer and retired conductor with the Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He was a member of Victoria Presbyterian Church and Lunenberg County VFW Post 9954. Mr. Green served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Nelson Green; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette Green Howard (Ian) of Chesapeake, Judith Green Smith (Frank) of Charlottesville; two sons and daughter-in-law, James Leslie Green of Victoria and Kenneth Page Green (Janice) of Lunenberg; and ten grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, March 28, 2 p.m. at the Victoria Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the home at all times. Memorial contributions may be made to the Victoria Presbyterian Church or the Victoria Fire and Rescue Squad. Staples Funeral Home, Victoria, is in charge of arrangements.
