My Great Grandmother, Blanche Amanda Norton was a wonderful Mother, Her Parents were Jeremiah Henry Norton and Mary Electa Taylor. Her ancestors on the Taylor side came to America in 1630, Anthony Taylor, who was the founder of Hampton, New Hampshire, Rev. Stephen Bathchelder, Ebenezer Webster, Lt. Andrew Bohonon, (Daniel Webster was our 1st, cousin 5 times removed. Our family on Blanche's side fought in every war that America was involved in.
Blanche's mother, Mary Electa Taylor Norton ended up with Small pox and died. Jeremiah Henry Norton remarried and later moved to Tama, Iowa, where Blanche Amanda Norton Pickett married and ended moving to Parsons, Labette County, Kansas, one of her sons was my Grandfather, Fred Arthur Pickett who later moved to Colorado and California.
