Ransom Harlow and Annis , his wife, had twelve children, nine of whom grew up to maturity. They were George C., Caroline C., Lucy M., Lathrop B., Adaline, Judson R., John M., Isaac, and Mary.
George, Judson and Isaac were permanent residents of the town of Whitehall. George had a son who became Mayor of Kansas City, Kansas. Ransom Harlow's family was very religious, all belonging to the Baptist denomination, except Dr. John Harlow. Ransom Harlow was Deacon of the old Baptist Church, where the Advent religion originated, and was known as Deacon Harlow.
