MARCELLE MARY ANSOLABEHERE
July 9, 1934 - January 2, 2022

Marcelle was born in Bakersfield to French immigrants August Ariey and Yvonne Ferrand. She was a graduate of East Bakersfield High and earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Southern California, and a Masters degree in Education with a concentration in Guidance and Counseling from Fresno State. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she returned to Bakersfield where she started her teaching career.
She was a member of the Catholic Social Club where she met many of her lifelong friends including her husband and soulmate George Ansolabehere.
