Mrs. Marguerite W. Wells, 2007 Thirty-third street, Rock Island, died yesterday at 5 p.m. in St. Anthony's hospital after an illness of three weeks.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Hodgson Funeral Home in Rock Island with the Rev. Ralph Lemon, pastor of the Milan Presbyterian church and cousin of the deceased, officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
Mrs. Wells was born Jan. 8, 1892, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. Charles B. and Anne Bollman. She was reared and educated in Rock Island. She married William R. Wells in Rock Island on May 26, 1913.
Surviving her are Mr. Wells, one daughter, Mrs. Leo F. Waters of Rock Island, an aunt, Miss Katharine Pfaff of Rock Island, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
