Peggie Jo (Hendryx) Cudworth, 62, of Brookston, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Indiana Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette.
Peggie was born November 9, 1959 in Lafayette to the late Rex A. Hendryx and Georgia L. (Cramer) Hendryx, who survives. Peggie was a 1978 graduate of Frontier High School in Chalmers.
On August 26, 1979, she married Greg Stockment at the Chalmers Community Church; they would later divorce in 2007.
Peggie worked as a real estate agent with her family at Rex Hendryx Real Estate in Brookston for over 20 years. She currently worked as an executive assistant for Advance Power Technology in Lafayette.
Peggie was a very active person and enjoyed being outdoors. More than anything, she loved her family and following her grandkid's around at their sporting events. Peggie also enjoyed spending time with her close friends and cheering for Purdue athletics.
Surviving with her mother, Georgia Hendryx, are two daughters, Karlie (Luke) Mansfield and Kensie (Trevor) Benakovich, both of Brookston. The light of Peggie's life were her grandchildren, Isaac, Kathryn, Brooks and Baker.
Preceding her in death is her father, Rex and her sister, Julie Blake.
