She was born July 16, 1919, in Woodbury, Ark., and had been a Lafayette resident since 1965, coming from Haynesville, La. She attended Summerfield High School in Louisiana and worked for Crown Laundry 16 years, retiring in 1984.
Surviving is a sister, Barbara Haley of Lafayette.
Services will be in Louisiana.
