Roger Norman Boston, 68, of Alpena passed away Monday, January 3, 2022.
Roger was born on October 9, 1953, in Detroit to the late Glenn and Edith (Dixon) Boston. He cofounded Bay View Drop In Center. Roger was a passionate advocate for mental health, educating to eliminate the stigmas. He enjoyed model building, hot rods, and trucks. Roger served on the Northern Michigan Affiliation Mental Health Advisory Board.
Surviving are his three children, Andrea (Michael Connon) Schodowski, Thomas Boston, John Boston; grandson, Joseph Boston; four siblings, Glenn (Kathy) Boston, Dennis (Brenda) Boston, Alice (Bruce) Rubin, and Glenna (Charles) Amboy.
Mr. Boston was preceded in death by his sister, Ardella Davis; brother, Jan Boston; and infant brother, Raymond Talbott.
The funeral service has been postponed.
