Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Parrish officiating. Interment will be in Wright's Chapel Cemetery in Worth County. The family will receive family and friends for one hour before the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born November 24, 1931, in Worth County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Henry Daniel Mauldin and Eliza Elizabeth Powell Mauldin. Mr. Bill was a United States Army Veteran. He was the co-owner of Julian Bridges Floral and Gifts and a member of First Methodist Church of Moultrie. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling. Mr. Bill will always be remembered for the beautiful floral arrangements and his talented decorating abilities.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Annie Mauldin, Louie Mauldin, Etta Mauldin Salter, Henry Mauldin, Jr., Lue Mauldin Hartsfield, Delcie Mauldin Sutton, Bernice Mauldin, Willie Mauldin, C.W. Mauldin, Abife Mauldin Casey, Abe Mauldin and Myrtice Mauldin Davis.
Survivors include his special nieces and caregivers, Dorothy J. Parker, Diane Burdette and husband Wayne, with whom he shared a special bond with, and a host of beloved family members and friends. Uncle Bill especially enjoyed frequent visits from the little great nieces & nephews
