Carolyn Hood Walsworth was born in Saline, LA on September 15, 1946. After a long period of declining health, she left this earthly world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 27, 2020 at age 73. She was a resident of Saline most recently but resided in Jonesboro for most of her adult life. Carolyn was a homemaker and also provided child-care in her home to many children, including family members through the years. Each one was special and dear to her heart, as she often reflected back on those times. Most of her nieces and nephews affectionately refer to her as "Aunt Cat." She was also a loving and devoted mother and will be missed by her entire family and all her friends including her church family at Old Saline Baptist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Howard Walsworth and wife Jennifer, of Vicenza, Italy along with two grandchildren – Emma Grace and Nathaniel Cole who lovingly refer to her as "Mamaw Cat;" Two sisters: Betty Hood Warren and husband Jerry of Saline, LA and Jane Hood Wafer of Saline, LA. She also leaves behind, for now, a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

She is preceded by her husband, Wesley Walsworth; her parents: HR "Sam" Hood and Erma Friday Hood; Brothers: Billy Hood, Freddy Hood, Johnny Hood and Bobby Hood.
