Robert's Obituary

Robert R. Miller, 53, loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, passed away January 2, 2022.

He was a dedicated Operator/Driver for FBI Buildings for 32 plus years. Robert loved going Dirt Track Racing across the Midwest with his sons. He traveled the USA, Scotland and Ireland as the official "4th Member" of Highland Reign where he entertained the crowd more than the band. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and attending events with his friends, John Evans, Brandon Sanders, Billy Gamble, Dan Harris, Eric White and Danny Gross. Robert loved his Scottish Heritage but the USA and Patriotism was what he valued more than anything. Robert was known for his love of Taco Bell and his rendition of singing the Birthday Song throughout the year to his many friends that he loved.
Robert was the funniest and most lovable person anyone could ever be fortunate enough to meet. He loved people and people loved him. Robert considered himself always and forever to be a Member of the 78th Fraser Highlanders French and Indian War Reenactment Unit. He was proud to be the longest tenured supporter of Highland Reign and was always the leader in the audience participation songs. He was the original Reigniac!

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Bobbie and Janet Miller; grandparents, Douglas and Viola Miller, Gilbert and Virginia Axsom; aunt, Bonita Pratt and nephew, Rowan Miller.

He is survived by the center of his universe, his boys, Evan and Garrett Miller; brothers, Leslie (Mandy) Miller, Brian (Donna) Miller and Joey Miller; Aunts and Uncles, B.J. and Roxie Miller, Donald Miller, Janice Woodke, Trish Miller, Deb Miller, Marcia Lawhorn, Leatha Doyle, Pete (Sharon) Axsom; nieces and nephews, Morgan (Jacob), Douglas (Katie), Mason, Rory, Macey (Josh), Amanda (Kyle), Taylor, Dakota, Nathan (Ashley), Kaylee, Kaitlin, Levi, Gilbert, and Stephanie; and 13 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Friday January 7, 2022 at Conkle Funeral Home Speedway. Services will be 11:30am Saturday January 8, 2022 at Conkle Funeral Home Speedway.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Glasgow Scotland's First Taco Bell (Haha! Robert would love that!!)
