She was the only daughter of the late Herbert Parr Speas and the late Jessie Estelle Westmoreland. She was the sister to the late Herbert Theodore Speas, Joseph Edwin Speas, and Robert Bruce Speas. She has one brother living, James (Jimmy) Clark Speas. She was married to the late William "Bill" Lewis Barbour.
Jessie was loved by everyone. She had lots of friends and loved each of them. She and Bill loved to travel and did so a lot with her best friends Jewel and Ronnie Gholson. She always thought of their sons, Ronnie Wayne and Kenneth as her sons. She was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved helping people. She liked working in her yard. She loved going shopping with the Seay/ Gholson family. She was a very happy and loving person. She had a lot of friends and she will be missed by everyone. She always was a loving and caring person. We will miss her, but she is with the love of her life, William "Bill" Barbour.
