Lermon "Larry" Parker was born in Gatesville, Texas to Odus and Luna Parker in July of 1935. Larry grew up and graduated from high school in Texas. He continued his education at Foothill and De Anza Colleges in California.
Larry, a veteran, served four years in the Navy protecting our country. Over the years Larry, an entrepreneur, was involved in many different things including owning his own manufacturing firm for livestock equipment.
A simple man, Larry had a great sense of humor and was a meticulous planner, wanting to take care of his family he loved so much. When asked about his life, Larry said, "The two things I want to be remembered for is being honest and fair". Larry was all that and much more. He will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his wife Odette Parker; children Wesley Parker, Mitchell (Janyce) Parker, Sherri (Larry) Dlabik and Tracy Jensen; siblings Vernon Gail Parker and Flossie Mae Fountain; and six grandchildren. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Norma Joyce Martin and Sandra Kay Hogland. No services are planned.
