"Clifford Bryson, age 73 of Marble passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Murphy Medical Center.
He was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Idaho and Metal Vaye Huskins Bryson. He was a member of the Marble Springs Baptist Church, a former member of the Masonic Lodge #439 of Marble and a member of the Eastern Star. He retired from Coats of America. Clifford enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph Randall Bryson and one sister, Edna Dockery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diana Jean Bryson of Marble, NC; one son, Tracy Bryson and girlfriend Brenda Winkler; one daughter, Stephanie Carver and husband Jonathan; three brothers, Walter Bryson and companion Linda Simmons, Garland Bryson and wife Tammy and Junior Bryson and wife Gail; one sister, Ruth Coffey and husband Howard; six grandchildren, Jessie Bryson, Anna Carver, David Carver, Elizabeth Winnegar, Abigail Carver and Emma Carver and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6 PM, Monday, December 8, 2014 at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Rev. Aud Brown will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM, Monday December 8, 2014 at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews, NC.
