Resident of Tonkawa, William Barnett, Dies
Tonkawa--William C. Barnett, a resident of Tonkawa for the past ten years, died suddenly at his home Wednesday following a stroke. A laborer, he had been at work Wednesday morning. He became ill shortly after noon and a short time after he had been stricken.
Barnett was born in Putnam County, Mo., on Dec. 17, 1866.
Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Roy Hill funeral home in Ponca City with burial at the Newkirk cemetery.
