Surviving are four children: Linda (Ken) Thobe, Minster, and Lavern (Melissa) Schemmel, Edward (Lisa) Schemmel and Denise (Roger) Rethman, all Maria Stein; seven siblings: Paul (Mary) Albers, Osgood, Bertie Albers, Celina, Don (Annie) Albers, Osgood, Agnes (Dale) Goettemoeller, Maria Stein, Barb (John) Sherman, Newport, Roger (Shirley) Albers, Maria Stein, and Phyllis Poeppelman, Minster; a brother-in-law, Urban Drees, Versailles; and fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two great-grandchildren; and two brothers and two sisters, all linked below.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and of the Ladies Sodality. She worked at New Idea until her and her husband started a family and then she was a homemaker and farmer's wife. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, eating out and loved to dance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood. Burial will follow at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
