Lorriane Evelyn Reifschneider, 95, of Baroda passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at West Woods of Bridgman, where she received loving care by the staff. She is now at peace in Heaven with her Lord.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2020 Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman with the Rev. Edward A. Meyer officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Memorial contributions may be given may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 26, Bridgman.
Lorraine was born Feb. 3, 1925 in Baroda, the daughter of Frederick and Edith (Gast) Ott on Oct. 6, 1945, she married Albert Raymond Reifschneider, she was a wonderful homemaker. Albert preceded her in death on May 21, 2005. Lorraine was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of Ladies Aid and Alter Guild. She was a good cook and excellent pie maker. She canned many jars of fruits, vegetables and even meat.
Survivors include her children: Larry (Joanne) Reifschneider, Sharon Martin, and Daniel (Cathy) Reifschneider; grandchildren: Emelee (Brian) Rajzer, Suze (Derrick) Miller, Tim (Kathryn) Martin, Julie (Nathan) Turner, Mary (Len) Amat, Shawn (Chris) Martin, Will (Catherine) Reifschneider and Allison Reifschneider and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters: Donna Mach, and Shirley (Larry) Eber, sisters-in-law: Patricia Ott and Connie Ott and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine was also preceded in death by a grandson, Gabriel Rajzer, brothers: Leslie, Herbert, Ervin, Raymond and Norman Ott and sisters, Adeline Hasse and Mabel Schmaltz.
