MARKSVILLE - Funeral services for Ethel Marie Briggs Tyler were held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Marksville.

Tyler, age 79 of Marksville, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014.

She is survived by her son, Gary Briggs of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Janice Edwards of Marksville and Shari Lachney of Marksville; one brother, Bobby Harris of Marksville; one sister, Ellene Knoll Dubea of Marksville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
