Mr. Heryer died Monday, Aug. 31, 1992, at Kansas University Medical Center.
He was born June 15, 1907, in Kansas City, to Fred W. and Loren Lesley Heryer.
He graduated from Westport High School in 1925, where he was president of his class, and attended Kansas University and Harvard University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in 1929 in finance and business administration. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta.
He was a retired president of McManus-Heryer Area Brokerage Co. in Kansas City. After retiring, he was involved in real estate investments. He owned the Heryer Professional Building at 927 Mass.
Survivors include two sons, Fred R. Heryer Jr., Carmel Valley, Calif.; and James C. Heryer, Kansas City, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
