Martha was my paternal grandmother and was very special to me. She was the daughter of Victor Houdmann and Elise Sommerlatte and was the last of 13 children in that family. Her first husband was Horace Newt Wilson with whom she had three children, John Henry Wilson, Charles Horace Wilson, and William Thomas Wilson (who died as an infant). Her second husband was Theodore Witt and they lived in George West for many years. I miss her terribly!
