GEORGE EMRICK, SR.
George Emrick, Sr. was born in Auglaize county, Ohio, April 5, 1856, and departed this life April 25, 1923, aged 67 years and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Blank of that place Oct. 20, 1878. To this union 12 children were born seven boys and five girls, eight of whom survive, four having preceded himto the world beyond. Mr. Emrick came to this county with his family 17 years ago, and will be greatly missed as a resident and neighbor. Although having always lived a moral life, about two weeks before his death he was wholy converted to God.
He leaves to mourn their loss his wife, five sons, Elbert, Philip, George, Arnold and Harvey; three daughters, Mrs. B. C. Nickless, Mrs. L. E. Foor and Mrs. E. E. Woods; 2
7 grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters, besides a host of friends and other relatives. The funeral services we re held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the McClure chuch conducted by the Rev. Frook, evangelist. Interment in the McClure cemetery.
