Allie Lee Holiman

Last rites for Miss Allie Lee Holiman who passed away suddenly in Winona November 20th, were held at Salem Church Monday afternoon, November 22, at three o'clock with the Rev. C. B. Hamlett, pastor of the Winona Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. S. B. Potts of Kilmichael Methodist Church officiating.

Serving as active pallbearers were George H. Flowers, Hamilton Hudson, G. W. Chesteen, Bill Box, Hugh Kent, Herman Wilkes and Clyde Hamer. Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Holiman was born in Montgomery County July 23rd, 1902, the daughter of Mrs. Delia Ingram Holiman and the late Pink Holiman. She became a member of the Hays Creek Baptist Church at an early age. Miss Holiman who had come to Winona on the day of her death with her brother, Robert Holiman, suffered a heart attack and died before medical attention could be summoned.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Delia Holiman, and three brothers, C. D. Holiman of Centralia, Illinois, and Robert and Ward Holiman of Winona.
