Mrs. Howell was a resident of Montgomery. She was born to the union of Richard L. Futrell and Lilly L. Blair. She married Ollie M. Howell in Montgomery on December 25, 1915.
She was survived by three sons, O. M. Howell of Dubberly, Elmore Howell of Montgomery and Raymond Howell of Eglin AFB, FL; three daughters, Helen Land of Pineville, Lorene Doughty of New Orleans and Laverne Bevill of Montgomery; five brothers, D. F. "Doc" Futrell of Winnfield, Homer Futrell of Pollock, Guy Futrell, Don Futrell and Wiley Futrell, all of Dry Prong; two sisters, Bessie Coleman of Georgetown and Mittie Frazier of Colfax; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. R. C. Howell of Arcadia, 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
