Funeral services for James W. Bryant, 80, of Montgomery, were held Sunday, Nov. 26, at the Hargis Baptist Church with the Rev. W. C. Powell and Rev. Rufus Kitchingham officiating. Burial was in the Hargis Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Bryant died Friday night in an Alexandria hospital.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Charles W. and Lloyd H. Bryant, both of Montgomery; a brother, Leon Bryant, of Montgomery; a daughter, Mrs. Ila Jones, Montgomery; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Reeves of Boyce, Mrs. Vivian Jackson of Montgomery, Mrs. Neicie Williams of Ferriday, and Mrs. Ella McIlwain of Winnfield; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
