Annie was born in Forsyth County, Georgia to Elsberry "Elsey" and Martha (Pursell) Aarons. She had two brothers, Jack and Thomas, and a sister, Julie. She was proceeded in death by two brothers, Pickett, 9, and Boyd, 3.
Annie married George W. Quinn, also a Georgia native, who was a contractor/builder and owned a bricklaying business. On October 17, 1923, Annie and George became the parents of a baby girl, Mary Eloise.
Annie took ill and passed away in Cummings, Georgia at the age of 39. Her daughter was four years old at the time of her passing.
She was laid to rest at Hollywood Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. Annie's grave is unmarked.
