Also surviving are two daughters: Ellie (Jeff) Wolf and Shelley (Brian) Wolf, both Minster; a son, Andy (Kathy) Bergman, Minster; four siblings: Erma (Walt) Schmitmeyer, New Bremen, Rich (Connie) Bergman, Minster, Ernie Bergman, Yorkshire, and Diane (Alvin) Berning, Botkins; two in-laws: Jon (Barb) Meyer and Audrey Meyer, both Minster; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother-in-law, Wilfred Meyer.
A 1967 graduate of Minster High School and lifelong farmer, he was one of the original employees at Dannon Plant, Minster. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. He was a member of the Air Force National Guard, the Minster American Legion, Celina Moose, Minster Eagles, and the Egypt Community Club. He enjoyed his corvettes, farming and "window" faming John Deere Tractors, and coffee sessions at Willys'. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery Minster.
